Matic

Matic Network (MATIC) - All information about Matic Network ICO (Token Sale) - ICO Drops

Decentralized Apps are making huge progress but the current blockchain ecosystem is not prepared to scale as per the demand.

The issues of slow block confirmations and high gas fees need to be solved before we target mass adoption by mainstream users. And most importantly, it needs awesome user experience.

Matic aim to change that by simplifying the interaction between users and the decentralized world. We want to make interacting with the decentralized ecosystem so easy that anyone can do so without worrying about the complexity of the system.

Matic Features

1. Scalability

Scalability is realized by using a decentralized Plasma operator mechanism with finality achieved on a main chain.

2. High Throughput

Can scale to millions of transactions on a sidechain tree architecture. Upto 65k transactions/second on a single Matic chain.

3. User Experience

Smooth UX abstraction from mainchain to Matic chain. Native mobile apps and SDK with WalletConnect support.

4. Security

The Matic chain(s) operators are themselves Stakers and Delegates in a Proof-of-Stake system in the Matic Network.

5. Asset Interoperability

Assets on different sidechains across various blockchains will be made inter-operable by Matic Network in the near future.

6. One Stop DeFi Platform

Multiple protocols enabling extensive decentralized finance applications can be hosted on Matic Sidechains.

Vision

We are a team passionate about decentralization and better products. The current decentralized eco-system lacks usability and convenience. Decentralized transactions are slow, expensive, and complex.

They aim to change this by leveraging a combination of blockchain scaling, developer platform and tools, and a rabid focus on user experience. They aspire to see a world where blockchain gains mainstream adoption and fulfills it's a true promise.

Shanti Mantra

Shanti Mantra - Achieve Universal Peace and Calmness | Meditative Mind

The Shanti Mantras or "Peace Mantras" or Pancha Shanti are Hindu prayers for Peace. A Shanti mantra is a prayer or chant for peace, often recited before and after Hindu religious rituals or ceremonies. The word 'Shanti' comes from Sanskrit which means peace and the word 'mantra' means prayer or song of praise, often recited repeatedly. There are various 'Shanti Mantras' mentioned in Hindu holy books known as 'Upanishads'. Shanti mantra is chanted to calm the mind of the reciter and the nature around her/him. Traditionally, a Shanti mantra ends with three recitations of "Shanti", which is believed to remove obstacles and calm the three reals: Physical, Divine, and Internal.

Shanti Mantra

ॐ सह नाववतु |
सह नौ भुनक्तु |
सह वीर्यं करवावहै |
तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु मा विद्विषावहै॥
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥

Meaning:

Om! May God protect us both together; may God nourish us both together;
May we work conjointly with great energy,
May our study be vigorous and effective;
May we not mutually dispute (or may we not hate any).
Om! Let there be peace in me!
Let there be peace in my environment!
Let there be peace in the forces that act on me!

What are the benefits of Shanti Mantra?

Shanti mantra streamlines and improves all the real capacities and empowers the diverse interior organs to work up to their ideal limits. At the point when recited, the Shanti mantra can soothingly affect the psyche and lead to profound unwinding.

When is Shanti Mantra chanted?

It is advisable that you chant the Shanti Mantra during the early morning hours between 6 am and 8 am so that you can stay calm throughout the day.

What is the significance of chanting Shanti Mantra?

Through the Shanti Mantra, we look for assurance from त्रिविध तापा (three scorchers) of the idea of -

अध्यात्मि-क (inconvenience caused 'inside' oneself at the body level and psyche level)

आधिभौति-(inconvenience brought about by observed substances for example people around us)

आधिदैविक (inconvenience brought about by 'inconspicuous' for example which comes to us from natural disasters, we have no influence over)

What is the power of the Shanti Mantra?

Shanti mantras are very powerful and are said to be miraculous.

Shanti mantras are not exclusively to bring peace to your home and heart, yet additionally to break the obstacles and allow issues to calm down.

Tips for Making Video Resume

Video resumes are serious game-changers!

It's easy and good for the company as well as the candidate applying for a job.

As its quite difficult to select a candidate with some written qualifications and a bunch of experience when they have all the same. And no one has the time to interview every single person.

So video resumes can come in really handy.

Some points to keep in mind while recording your video resume are:

1. You must be presentable and well-groomed.

2. The background should be clean so that you can be the point of focus in that video.

3. Lighting should be proper so that your face is clearly visible.

4. Don’t wear too loud clothes while recording the video. Mute blue is a cheat color it can never go wrong.

5. Make sure your voice is clear and audible, avoid recording the video if there are any disturbances in your surroundings.

6. Keep your voice tone “Happy” throughout the video. Try to look positive. This simple thing can really affect your chances of qualifying for a job through a video resume. Dull or sad voice pitch will definitely lead to a rejection of you job application.

7. The best camera angle for this would cover your face and chest, while you’re sitting on a chair. This position will also make you look calmer.

What to Include in a Video Resume

You should be considering recording and sharing your video CV. When you are ready remember these points :

1. Be professional: Dress as you would for an interview, and maintain a professional demeanor. Avoid cursing and slang. Pay attention, too, to the background of shots, and make sure it looks tidy. Also, ensure that you are in a well-lit area and that the light is in front of you so that you show up well on camera.

2. Prepare a script: Don't ad-lib your video completely. You want to seem natural and off-the-cuff but should have a sense of what you want to say, and how you want to phrase it. You can read directly from a script or a list of talking points. videoBIO has a built-in teleprompter that will help to improve your ability to deliver your script while still looking into the camera. The main points to express in the video are what you'll provide the company, and your major goals, skills, and accomplishments. Think of the video as being a pitch for why the company should hire you.

3. Know your audience: As you plan your script and location, consider who will watch the video, and adjust accordingly. A video prepared for a position at a bank will differ from a video prepared for a start-up.

4. Show, don't tell: Use visuals to illustrate what you're saying in the video script and showcase your talents and skills. For instance, if you're applying for a job where presentations are a major part of the role, you can record yourself assembling a PowerPoint. Or, if any of your presentations were recorded, use that footage in your video resume.

5. Keep it brief: Videos should be between 30 to 60 seconds. Anything longer than that is unlikely to be watched.

6. Share with friends and family: Getting feedback from others is an important step. Ask a few people to watch your video, and make edits and changes based on their comments. Always keep in mind that once your video is on the Internet, you no longer have control over who sees it, or how it's shared. Take feedback from friends and family seriously — if they think it's a misfire, do not share the video.

Is video resume the future of resumes?

Cover Image for How to create a video resume

The activities of recruitment and hiring have modified from the past.

They have become digital now. Don't believe me?

Okay, consider the last time you used paper for filing employment application or allow us to make it simpler when was the last time you sought for employment within the newspaper? You certainly will have an issue find out that 'last time'.

These two examples signify an inclination towards digitalization and also the question that arises is- ' what's next'. You apply for jobs online, submit resumes on online portals, but is it enough?

Is the hiring procedure in sync with the modern time, after we are talking about computer science, the web and therefore the robotics.

If you're thinking that about it deeply you'll acquire flaws, lots of them. as an example, still the hiring begins by interacting with a paper- i.e. resume.

So, what are the subsequent steps a recruiter must take? If you ask us we are going to say he should move towards video resume.

How will video resume help?

A video is interesting, interactive and surely a higher means of communication. Same as that a video resume being a digital type of resume will help recruiters understand about the candidate more clearly as they'll study the video (which will comprise of all their details- ie. personal and professional ) that may in result be better to grasp and remember.

Will all recruiters switch to video resumes?

Interviews, for the foremost part, are largely held personally or over the phone. However, this might be changing with video resumes. But, this shift and alter will take time, instead plenty of time. Why? Because not every industry will embrace the thought of the digital resumes. More conservative industries are less likely to embrace and include such changes. Only the businesses that are more into the creative activities, basically, those linked to creative fields like art, design or media are more likely to put the trust within the video resume concept.

SMART Goals

Setting goals will give you a sense of purpose, focus your limited time and energy on what's really important, and motivate you to achieve something meaningful to you.

Ultimately, setting goals is about intentionally creating the life that you want; one step at a time.

Goal setting is necessary in order to give you a purpose and mission when it comes to virtually anything you are doing in life and work.

Without goals that are S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) it’s super easy to lose motivation, purpose, and direction.

Goals are put in place as a way to help you stay focused and give you a tangible outcome to work towards - by creating SMART goals you are ensuring that you’re setting yourself up for success and have as much clarity as you possibly need.

This is true for all things where you can properly set goals, notably projects you take on at work, and even your personal finances. Using the SMART methodology and practice is a way to blueprint your way to reaching those goals.

Set your goals high and don't stop till you reach there.

Only when one works at the smart goal, tracks their progress, is consistent, and learns from whatever is not working for them. It's all good and well when one puts a smart goal into place and works on it whenever one feels like working on it. Yet without the consistency, then that smart goal shall never be achieved.

To get the ideas flowing, try asking yourself the following questions:

1. Do you remember what your goals were as a child? As a teenager?

2. Fast-forward to when you’re sitting in that rocking chair in your old age: what advice would you give your younger self?

3. Fast-forward a little further: how do you want people to remember you when you’re gone?

4. How do you want to spend your time? What does your ideal day look like?

5. What do you want to learn?

6. Who do you want to spend your time with?

Try to think of different areas of your life: health and fitness, career, family, personal development... And aim for a mix of ambitious and more achievable goals, personal and externally focused, educational and fun, short-term, and long-term.

What does SMART mean?

SMART Goal - Definition, Guide, and Importance of Goal Setting
Source: https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/

S – Specific:
Getting specific on the goals that you want to achieve will give you more clarity on what success looks like, and help you to identify the concrete steps that will get you there.

M – Measurable: If you can’t measure your goal, then how will you know if you’ve achieved it? How will you track your progress?

A – Achievable: Goals that may seem completely out of your reach can become achievable if you break them down into smaller steps and give yourself a reasonable time frame in which to achieve them.

R – Relevant: A relevant goal is a goal that is meaningful to you, as well as being relevant to the wider context, to what’s going on in the world around you, personally and professionally.

T – Time-bound: Finally, setting a deadline will help you to focus and will also give you a sense of urgency, which can motivate you to act now rather than putting it off until later
